Private Client Insurance in Spain

For households with more than one property, vehicle or type of cover to manage in Spain — one coordinated review, rather than several unrelated policies arranged at different times with different insurers.

English throughout · Registered with Portugal’s ASF (no. 425591790/3) · A written answer on what can be arranged

Complex households need coordination, not more policies

This is not a luxury product line, and we do not market it as one. It is a practical observation: households with a home in one insurer's hands, a car with another, health cover arranged somewhere else, and a life policy from years ago — each bought at a different time, by a different route, sometimes in a different language — end up with gaps and overlaps that nobody notices until a claim, because nobody has ever looked at the whole picture at once.

The proposition here is simple: one broker, reviewing several risks together, for an international client. Not a branded "wealth insurance" product — a coordinated process.

High-value property

The mechanics are the same as any home insurance question — see home insurance in Spain for the full detail — but higher-value properties raise the same questions with higher stakes: an accurate rebuilding value that has not drifted out of date, higher contents sums that actually reflect what is in the property, the security measures an insurer expects at that value, and how occupancy and second-home use are declared. Getting these details precisely right matters more, not less, as the sums involved grow.

Multiple properties

Owning property in Spain alongside property elsewhere is common among the households we hear from. We can review and help coordinate the Spanish side of that picture; we do not claim to arrange or review cover for property in jurisdictions where we do not operate, and we say so plainly rather than imply otherwise.

Vehicles

From a single family car to more than one vehicle across a household — see car insurance in Spain for the detail, including foreign licences and foreign-registered vehicles, both of which come up regularly at this end of the client base.

Health

Family and individual private health cover — see health insurance in Spain. For larger or more complex families, the same principle applies as elsewhere on this page: each person is underwritten individually, and reviewing everyone together at once surfaces inconsistencies a policy-by-policy approach misses.

Life and family protection

See life insurance in Spain for family and mortgage-linked protection. For private clients specifically, this is often the policy most likely to be out of date — arranged years ago, in another country, for a sum insured that no longer reflects the household's actual circumstances.

Landlord and investment property

Where a household holds one or more investment or rental properties in Spain, see landlord insurance in Spain. A coordinated review is most useful here when there is more than one investment property, or where a mix of long-term and short-term letting makes the picture genuinely complex.

Mallorca

International households on the island are frequently second-home owners, and the property, seasonal occupancy pattern and, where relevant, a boat kept locally all belong in the same review rather than three separate conversations. See home insurance in Spain for how rebuilding value and security requirements are assessed for a property that stands empty for part of the year.

Costa del Sol

Villas and second residences along the coast raise the same questions as anywhere else in Spain — accurate rebuild value, contents that reflect what is actually in the property, and vehicles that are sometimes left in Spain between visits — but the concentration of international owners here means we see the same patterns repeatedly, and a coordinated review tends to catch more than a policy-by-policy approach.

International client service

Everything above is arranged and communicated in English, by a single point of contact, whether you live in Spain full-time or manage the household's Spanish affairs remotely. Correspondence, comparison and claims all work the same way whether you are down the road or in a different time zone — that is how we work by default, not an exception arranged on request.

Frequently asked questions

What does "private client" mean here — is this a luxury product?

No. It describes a coordinated review across several types of cover for a household with more than one risk to manage — property, vehicles, health, life — rather than a branded luxury insurance product. The underlying products are the same ones covered elsewhere on this site.

Can you insure property I own outside Spain?

We can review and help coordinate the Spanish side of your situation. We do not claim to arrange or review cover for property in jurisdictions where we do not operate.

Do you insure art, jewellery or collections?

Only where it can genuinely be arranged and supported by an actual insurer relationship — we do not promise cover for valuables in general terms. Tell us what you have and we will confirm honestly whether it is something we can currently place.

Is there a minimum value or income to use this service?

No formal threshold. The review is genuinely most useful for households with more than one property, vehicle or line of cover to coordinate — if that describes your situation, this is the right starting point regardless of specific figures.

Will you need detailed financial information to start?

No — we start with what you currently hold and with whom, not valuations or sensitive financial detail. That level of detail, if needed, comes later and only where genuinely relevant to a specific policy.
